In this episode, we share our last interview from the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) conference with Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. Dr. Sheldrake is an English author and researcher in the field of parapsychology. He talks with Haley about discovering, after years of in the field research, that paranormal activity is actually a very normal occurrence because people experience it throughout their lives. Dr. Sheldrake states in his interview that “our minds are more extensive than our brains”. He also shares that he will be releasing a new book this year in the UK about science and spirituality.
Quotes from this episode:
"I think the most surprising thing is that paranormal activity is not paranormal, it's normal." - Dr. Rupert Sheldrake
"When we realize our minds are not confined to the inside of our heads, they are much more extensive than our brains. They’re rooted in our brains but extend far beyond them, just like the electromagnetic fields of a cell phone are rooted in the cell phone, but they extend invisibly far beyond the material body of the cell phone. I think that’s world changing because it enables us to escape from the prison of the brain, the idea of the mind is all imprisoned inside our skull, which is a very isolating idea, it disconnects us from each other and from world around us and it's also false." - Dr. Rupert Sheldrake
